It's hard to believe that May is almost here! I hope everyone is as excited about the Summer season as we are! Some extra exciting news for us is we were invited into the Cisco development program for the Cius device. The Cius is a business class tablet made by Cisco with it's own priority store, set to launch in July 11. We will have at least 2 apps in the launch! Also, we are mentioned in the Forbes magazine online blog relating to the app economy in general. Read that story HERE >.

App Manager app released!
App manager is an Android utility app that lets you backup all your apps at once, or even uninstall them all at once. There are lots of sorting options, for example, you might want to find just apps that use network so uninstall them because your Internet usage is high - you can do that with App manager. In addition, you can install apps (.apk files) from the SD card. It's becoming more popular for people to get apps outside of the Android marketplace, and app manager allows you to install those apps! It's lightweight, can be installed onto SD, supports Android 2.3.3 (gingerbread), and best of all - it's FREE! Check it out by following the links in the new app section above.

Prefer not to be bothered by a sound every time an e-mail arrives? Head into Gmail's Settings menu and set its ringtone to Silent. You'll still see new-message alerts in the notification panel at the top of your screen, and you can always pull the panel down to get detailed information. You can configure text messaging and other alert-generating apps the same way.
