App Developer and Website Designer FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
As developers we walk around with a bit a red x on our backs that seems to beacon everyone to ask questions! But hey, we are glad to help so here is a list of the most common questions we get asked. If your question is not on here, just contact us and we'll be glad to help.
Price is usually the first consideration for any project and we want to make sure you get as much value as possible when selecting Moonbeam as your development team. Pricing an app development project is easy when you know every single thing there is to know about what is to be developed. But almost every project has those little "unknown elements", or "gotchas" that you just can't think of when designing and prototyping. So we provide an estimate for you as close to the actual time we think it will take.
Time to market is important and we do our best to meet every deadline outlined in our "Statement of Work" provided to you on project launch. Typical mobile app or website projects take around 8 weeks to complete, with larger projects taking 6 months to a year. It just all depends on the complexity of your business model and idea.
Yep, sure do. We have support plans that cover everything for you so you don't have to worry about the code becoming outdated, or not working on a particular device any longer. Most of our customers take advantage of our monthly support so they know they are covered -and because it's very affordable.
We do not do this, sorry.
The short answer is yes. Non-Disclosure-Agreements are tricky business for any development studio because just as you want to protect your idea, we must maintain creative freedom for other clients and ourselves. So NDAs are usually agreed to by us, as long as they do not restrict us from current or future projects and mearly seek to protect your business privacy.
Type out your message to us on our contact page and we usually respond within the hour unless it's over 8PM or on the weekend. You can also get our mailing address, and phone numnbers there.
In general, no. But our full Moonbeam Trademark Usage Policy is on our website.
